Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The rooms were located in a quiet part of the building with an impressive view of the river and mountains, offering a beautiful sight of the Danube. However, there were a lot of insects inside the room when we arrived, which was a bit off-putting. The service was exceptional, with a nice gesture of a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The location was stylish with a nice atmosphere, offering a wide range of saunas and steam cabins. The dining experience was a mix of positive and negative aspects, with fancy-looking but taste-missing food. The facilities were overall quite good.
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with the worst beds imaginable but with great wellness facilities and mineral water available in the tepidarium. The friendly staff and excellent kitchen add to the positive experience, although the service might lack motivation. The location, while picturesque, falls short of expectations from online images.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, had a good temperature which was very comfortable, and the wellness area was great with hot spring water in the pools. Additionally, the staff was nice, the kitchen offered delicious meals, and there was convenient indoor and outdoor parking. The only downside was that the room should have been in a quieter part of the building.
The hotel is an interesting question with supposedly a 'superior' room that had a beautiful view. The beds are the worst in this and all other universes. The service is friendly but somewhat bureaucratic. The location is beautiful and peaceful, although be prepared to queue. The dining options are disappointing with limited choices and service concerns.
The hotel gives a beautiful view of the Danube and offers a wide range of spa amenities, but the dining experience falls short in taste. Friendly staff and stylish location enhance the stay.
The hotel offers a relaxing experience with a mix of positives like a modern flat TV and standard bathroom in the rooms, perfect for unwinding after a day at the scorching saunas. However, the absence of tea and coffee making facilities and slightly aged furniture may not meet everyone's standards.
The hotel offers a decent stay with rooms at the expected 4-star standard, featuring beautiful river views. The service is attentive and goes the extra mile while the location strikes a balance between being close enough to Budapest and distanced from the city buzz. The dining experience is satisfactory but could offer a wider selection. Overall, a good value for the money spent.
The hotel offers a nice stay with spacious and clean rooms, but the beds may not be the most comfortable. The service is friendly, though slightly bureaucratic. Its fantastic location overlooks the Danube, but dining options might be hit or miss.
The hotel is located in a serene area with a beautiful river view, offering clean and comfortable rooms at a good 4-star standard. The outside patio adds a charming touch, but some initial cleanliness issues need attention. The service is top-notch, with attentive and polite staff always ready to assist. The location is ideal, striking a perfect balance between proximity to Budapest and a peaceful setting near the Danube. The dining experience, while diverse, falls short in taste quality. The facilities are well-maintained, offering a satisfactory stay overall.
My parents' room was really comfortable and silent, tucked away in a quiet part of the building. It was spacious and clean, providing a great restful atmosphere. The service, while mostly nice, felt a bit lacking in proactive attentiveness on some occasions, but they did surprise us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The hotel staff was very helpful with absolutely everything we needed, from room service to valet parking. The location was surrounded by forest and the Danube river, creating a picturesque setting in Visegrad. The dining room offered a variety of delicious options, but some dishes ended up looking fancier than they tasted. Overall, the facilities were excellent, making our stay convenient and enjoyable.
